It’s hard to believe another school year will be starting in just a month. Supporting education is important to Core Bank. For the 2023 – 2024 school year, our Core Bank Cares Scholarship program allowed Core Bank to award $14,000 in scholarships to local high school seniors. Scholarships are substantial at $2,000 each and were awarded as follows:
- Elkhorn Public Schools- Two recipients were awarded scholarships
- Ava Fowler – Elkhorn South High School
- Mya Larsen – Elkhorn High School
- Papillion LaVista Community Schools- Two recipients were awarded scholarships
- Jayden Culley – Papillion LaVista High School
- Kamryn Exner – Papillion LaVista South High School

Omaha Public Schools-Three recipients were awarded scholarships
- Brenda Gonzalez-Ortega – Bryan High School
- Romina Herrera-Baro – South Magnet High School
- Mercy Eh – Benson High School
