Tegan Reed and Anna Lehotyak accept a check for $22,000 from Core Bank’s President, David Hartman.
Core Bank held the Third Annual Core Bank Cares Golf Tournament on June 24th at Champions Run Golf Course. The goal of this tournament was to raise money for Nebraska Diaper Bank, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing diapers through collaborative partnerships to change lives & empower families in need. In 2023 they distributed 2,825,428 diapers, and since they began, they’ve already exceeded 6,991,617 diapers.
$22,000 was raised during our Golf Tournament yesterday through registrations, sponsorships, course games, and raffle ticket sales. Thank you to all the amazing supporters, sponsors, and volunteers for this event!
During our post-tournament dinner, we presented the $22,000 donation to the Nebraska Diaper Bank team. It was accepted by Nebraska Diaper Bank’s Executive Director Tegan Reed, and Development Director, Anna Lehotyak. They shared about Nebraska Diaper Bank’s mission, and how your support can positively impact families in Nebraska.
After the event, Tegan Reed shared the following message with us, “We are so grateful to Core Bank who has been an amazing partner and for all of the hard work they put into making the golf tournament a huge success. We had such a great time meeting all of the teams and are thankful for their support. The funds raised from the golf tournament will have a great impact on our community and allow us to purchase, wrap and distribute 81,000 diapers which will serve 1,250 babies. Thank you Core Bank for truly caring for our community!”
